你家的孩子在哪裡？在學校？在才藝班？在客廳看電視？在院子和狗兒玩耍？還是正在你的懷裡？在花蓮信望愛少年學園裡的孩子們，因為得不到家庭、學校和社會的愛與認同，沒有被鼓勵的經驗，沒有被愛的感受，沒有成功的體驗，也無法享有孩子應該有的權利和喜悅，所以這些孩子有點不一樣。
愛，對一個孩子到底多重要？2006年七月夏天，信望愛少年學園30多個孩子，準備帶著滿滿的關愛與祝福，踏上20天超過1千公里的一輪車環島之旅！軟弱的立德，大聲說他死都要騎完！命運乖舛的建雄，相信他失蹤的父母能以他為傲，願意回到他身邊！桀傲不馴的子敬，還在計算要不要逃跑放棄！被抓回觀護所的楊烈流淚擔心，會錯過這趟人生中最重要的旅行！
黃牧師、觀護人盧蘇偉，背負重任冒著隨時丟掉工作的可能，也要陪著孩子們完成這項挑戰，因為他們深信，這個絕無僅有的成功經驗，會帶給這些被世人視為無藥可救的孩子們，一次莫大的精采改變！這趟人生的挑戰，是否可以順利完成呢？
Where is your child? At school? In talent class? Watching TV in your living room? Playing with your dog in the yard? Or just in your arms right this moment? There’s something different with the children of Hualien’s Faith and Love Youth academy, for they can not get any love and recognition from the family, the school, or from the society. They have never experienced encouragement, never felt loved or successful, what the ordinary children are entitled to enjoy.
How important love is for a child? In the summer of 2006, more than 30 children of Hualien’s Faith and Love Youth academy were about to set off, with all the affections and blessing, for a 20-day 1000-kilometer around-the-island tour! Among them there is this timid boy, Li-De, who yelld out that he is so determined to finish the journey. Another ill-fated boy, Chien-Shun, believed that by conquering the journey, his parents would be so proud and come back for him. The wild and reckless Tsi-Ching was caculating if he should quit and run off. And Yang Lieh who was sent back to the Juvenile Detention House was crying, worried that he would miss this most important journey of his life!
Reverend Huang and Youth detention officer Lu Su-Wei carry a huge responsibility and risked their job to accompany the children to accomplish this challenge, for they believe this one-in-a-million chance of success will bring up an incredible change to those children, whom are incurable in the eyes of others. Are they going get through this challenge of life?
